A rose by any other name ... beautifully done. Delicate coloring and the detail and lighting really makes this one pop. If I were a bee this image would fool the heck out of me! Set off nicely by the pale pink stroke. I would like to see you enter this in some competition.   Posted: 11/08/2024 00:19:11

I think you could crop in even closer. The outer petals look a little shaggy, and wouldn't hurt to just trim some of the edges back to focus more on the center of the rose. Very pretty!   Posted: 11/09/2024 16:46:26

Outstanding. Good crop and great detail. Color is right on and your composition to include the upper left is done well.   Posted: 11/12/2024 19:15:06

The rose has been captured with finesse. The texture and delicate petals are nice and crisp. The color balance is very nice. I agree with Peggy, that some of the petals on the bottom are a little shaggy and can be smoothed to perfection.   Posted: 11/20/2024 17:03:23

Ditto on everyone's comments. What stood out the most for me is the texture on the petals. However, before competition I suggest you fix the little imperfection at the 6 o'clock position of the third petal.   Posted: 11/23/2024 14:20:06
