Now that's a close-up portrait. Perhaps a little too close? I think the focus could be sharper with a little less zooming. But very nice colors and a good head shot...you could tell us what species it is?   Posted: 12/03/2025 22:38:52
I like the full body one much better. What a lovely bird. You could clone out the restraints.   Posted: 12/10/2025 03:45:33
Marilyn,
Early this year a group of us visited Wings and Talons in Itasca, IL. It was a wonderful experience to get that close to multiple raptors. Your image of the Red Tail Hawk is impactful. The eye tells the story of the intense focus of this species. Conservation groups have the raptors tethered and that plays havoc in trying to show the animal in the wild.   Posted: 12/04/2025 16:04:27

Marilyn, amazing head shot. Great color, sharpness and definition. Please email me when in February this event is and my wife and I will drive up from Key West. Outstanding image.   Posted: 12/05/2025 00:14:32

I think the close-up of the hawk is beautiful. The emotion in its eyes is very clear.   Posted: 12/05/2025 07:00:55
