When we used to have water in our pond most of the year, we had mergansers, wood ducks, mallards, turtles and Canada geese. The last few years have been uncomfortably dry. These chicks cracked me up.

What lovely little creatures!! I like that one of them is cleaning itself. The colour of the wood they are sitting on compliments their colours.
