March 2025 - What were we thinking?

No pin-up photo this month. This was taken in 2020 when we had snow. This year
is still a drought. We did have a couple of snows, but not much and it's already
in the 60s. This yappy female wood duck just made me smile.
Equipment used: Canon EOS 77D, f/11, 1/400, IOS 400. 300mm.

Leslie, this image communicates a message of COLD and is very close to being a high key image. The yappy female definitely tells a story and gets the message across witch I surmise is that someone has food. This is a whimsical maybe comical image. Posted: 03/01/2025 17:25:28

Maybe not a pin-up Leslie, but as Tom said, does tell a story. To me, looks like the male is chasing the female all the while trying to convince her his side of the story, while at the same time she is swimming away from him, is having her say in the matter. I would have suggested cropping the shore line out, but I think it's really part of the story. Posted: 03/05/2025 12:59:12
