Michael, super, tack sharp image. Great action and colors are right on and vivid. Excellent non distracting soft background but I just felt there was too much of it so I did a crop. What do you think?   Posted: 03/01/2025 16:49:15

I think both work.   Posted: 03/01/2025 19:20:04

I like the cropped bottom edge to get rid of the out-of-focus bit. Lovely breeding colors, good action shot, great focus on the pelican. What delightfully goofy birds.
You might consider cloning the back of the black head to extend it just a teense over the far wing. It appears they are fused or that the wing is in front of the head which would be an awkward flight position.   Posted: 03/02/2025 12:19:53

Michael, great shot of the pelican in this pose. In focus and sharp across the image and the colors are fantastic. I like Toms crop of the image, eliminating the blurred fore ground. I didnt notice it until Leslie pointed it out, but agree with her cloning recommendation Nice job.   Posted: 03/07/2025 13:11:33

A really super image. Well timed capture showing the bird in it's full plumage. I agree the bottom brown area is not needed, and should be cropped out.   Posted: 03/10/2025 06:10:52
