I can smell a baguette. Real nice evocation of an ancient European town.   Posted: 06/14/2024 18:57:01

What a wonderful building. Lots of little things for the eye to linger on and think about. The sign on the wall on the left, the beautiful wooden door with the obtrusive modern box on the front, then the modern shop front. The signs on the shop door and the window display of goods for sale. That is beside the woodwork of the rest of the building. The only slight distraction are the reflections in the window.   Posted: 06/17/2024 10:34:36

Hi Stan,
This looks like a beautiful place to visit. The image evokes a feeling of being in a small French town. The color, texture and framing are all terrific.
Hopefully you were able to sample some of the shop's offerings!
Per John's comments while a polarizer may have helped with the reflections we all know that sometimes when traveling it's not possible to stop and put on a PL. So kudos to you for putting us in France!

Nice capture of an old French store. I like the details on the unique door and the shop window.   Posted: 06/20/2024 19:04:59
