About the Image(s)
Shot with an iPhone Pro Max 14 at 1/6400 secc, ISO 64, 6.86 mm, f/1.8 in Budapest Hungary while we were on our own after our tour and cruise group had left the city. We had walked up to the Bastion coming in from a side most tourists never see.

Stan,
This is a wonderful travel image! The color & sharpness are spot on. I especially like the way you incorporated the tourists in the image but at the same time moved our attention to the beautiful spires. One question, had you considered lightening the shadows on the extreme left?...Might be interesting gto see what is there.

What an interesting looking place. Lots of photo opportunities I am sure. I like the inclusion of people, they add scale and interest to the scene. The towers make a nice composition.   Posted: 08/15/2026 13:21:31
This is a nice photo of beautiful old structures. The repeated towers and arches make the scene interesting. Including a small group of people provides a sense of scale. I like how the sunlight brings out lots of detail in the stone.   Posted: 08/16/2026 01:09:52
Those Iphone photos are just amazing and this one is just as brilliant. Dang, look how sharp this is! Not sure when you were there but I just return from Spain. Yo, it was hot. Hope you were able to stay cool.
I have a friend who thinks all landscape is enhanced with a 16x9 or 10 crop. I cropped and removed the distracting black object at bottom. I am also wondering about the Iphones ability to remove people as my Samsung Galaxy does an outstanding job at it. If so, I'd suggest removing the people with cell phones but leave the orange outfit. I enhanced the shadows and sky but was just playing.
I like the three towers and repeating lines. Glad you were able to take the shot that not everyone gets. Great perspective.
