I went to Monhegan Island off the Maine coast in September with a photo workshop. We did a lot of night photography on this small island. The light house is now a museum. Several of us worked together to light the structure.
Nikon Z 6ii, ISO 1250, 31.5 mm, f 6.3, 20 seconds.

I like the mood of this picture with the house and boat under a starry sky. Perhaps lightening the boat a bit to add some detail would add interest to the picture.   Posted: 04/16/2026 20:37:40

Jay, I like the composition & monochrome treatment . However had you considered lighting the boat a bit more & perhaps emphasizing the Milky Way by using the highlights slider in PS or LR?
