I have been on the spit a couple of times and never recognized how well this place photographed. You have captued a shot that looks like it was created as a hollywood set or something, everything looks so perfect, but I know that it is real.   Posted: 12/12/2025 17:53:19
You just had to take this picture. The colours and the details are great. It looks like you chose a time when everything was closed, not a criticism, just an observation.

Hi John, Thank you for your kind comment. You're right--the shops were mostly closed. Shops typically open from May through September. I took this photo on the final day of the season, so there were only a few people around.   Posted: 12/17/2025 20:16:51
