About the Image(s)
Amazingly the Opera House was open to just open the door and walk in with no security obvious. A chance to shoot as we wished in the outer halls. Shot with an iPhone 14 Pro on 10/23/2024 at 7:30pm at 1/25 sec, f/1.8, 6.86mm

Another of your excellent travel pictures that shows the results available when using a smartphone. Well composed and as sharp as could be. A magnificent building that needs to be photographed.   Posted: 07/12/2025 09:31:45
Hi Stan,
This is a wonderful image. Given the challenges of travel photography (which can sometimes be `run & gun') I think this photo shows what an experienced photographer such as yourself can do on the spur of the moment. This image gives further credence to the answer to the question `what is the best camera'?...The one you have with you! Great color & composition and being able to include both the ornate ceiling & floor makes this image `pop'. Well done!

Nicely done. Your push of the door paid off. I've got to get a better phone!   Posted: 07/14/2025 14:04:56
The photo really stands out with its fancy architecture. You can totally see the luxury of the chandeliers and the ceiling paintings, and it pulls you into the amazing vibe of the place.   Posted: 07/14/2025 14:27:03
