A few days ago I had some extra time on a visit to NYC so I decided to stroll through Central Park to catch a first glimpse of the blossoming foliage. The woman carrying a whole lot of bags caught my eye as a contrast to the blossoming tree and as point of focus for the leading line of the Park path. I thought the bags added a bright spot to the composition. I don’t know who the woman was but I wish her well.

The lady does in deed make a contrast to the blossom and the leaves from the last autumn lying on the ground. Her position in the picture works well Posted: 04/18/2025 12:18:01
