Hi Mel,
I think this is a great travel image. It is certainly someplace I would want to visit. You were able to keep the lines straight by shooting @ 89mm & managed to hold the viewer's interest in the structures by selectively cropping the bottom portion of the structures and making sure we saw our way to the top. One minor suggestion, gave you considered darkening the part of the mountain in the upper left-center quadrant--this might help the viewer's eye from going to the lightest portion first (?)

When we were going to Austria, an Austrian told us you must go to Hallstatt. We went and we were not disappointed, this a wonderful village no trip to Ausria should miss it. You choose a "High Impact" view that I would believe to be unusual for a visit. That means I missed this great picture in Hallstatt. We concentratted on the water front where there are many more great shots.   Posted: 02/12/2025 22:18:45
Very nice. I would not touch anything. In particular I like how the right hand side is greener and the left hand side is yellow. This adds a sense of contrast and depth.   Posted: 02/13/2025 01:53:22
I like pictures like this, with lots of detail for my eye to wander over. I think you have chosen a good angle to take the picture and I like all the colours, with some of the houses in a similar colour to the left hand mountainside.   Posted: 02/15/2025 11:09:30
