About the Image(s)

A bit of a fun composition of a bit of old machinery. I thought that the shiny tap looked like some one dancing.

Hi John,
This to me is a wonder environmental photo of old machinery.
The color & focus are spot on. The image would also do well with an even tighter focus on the machine. However I like the way the top (black?) panel is included--it gives me a sense that this machine is part of some larger apparatus.

You seem to come up with a lot of exccllent shots of mundane things over the years I have shared this group with you. This is one of the best. Norm has a good point, there is another great version if you crop from the right to remove the red valve knob. If you try this you might crop some from the bottom to maintain this nice aspect ratio.   Posted: 02/12/2025 22:24:57

This valve look like a soldier to me. I love it. I agree with Norm and Stan
