About the Image(s)
While strolling through the 6th arrondissement of Paris, I noticed a building with a red facade across the street. I stopped and photographed passersby as they walked by the building. f/8, 1/125, ISO 320, 44 mm

Hi Mel,
This to me is a terrific street photography image! The bright red of the building and shutters is a wonderful contrast to the clothes the subject is wearing. Also, it looks like you were able to get the subject `mid step'--showing motion without a blur. Add to all that the reflection in the window for a wonderful image.
Happy 2025!

Agree with Norm with one exception. I think image would have been stronger if you saw her feet. It would enhance the sense of motion. Love the color study.   Posted: 01/15/2025 02:59:48

Well seen and caught. The red building makes a great background. The subject has been caught in the right position. I have to concur with Jay over including the feet may be a minor improvement, but I like it.   Posted: 01/17/2025 09:58:45

No, it was how I shot it. I agree, including the legs would have improved the picture.   Posted: 01/20/2025 23:55:01
