About the Image(s)
In Early May I visited the state park in WV.
I wanted to present the water movement and how it flows. I chose a low point of view and set up my gear. I used shutter priority 3" exposure on a tripod and a close aperture to maximize depth of field.

Hi Adi,
The use of monochrome and slow shutter speed is very effective here. The strong B&W contrast and water swirls draw me into the image. One question, is it necessary to have the bridge in the image? It is interesting from an informational perspective but can the falls themselves stand on their own merits? Just a matter of taste-I don't think there is a right or wrong answer here.
Well done!

I like the low viewpoint it adds emphasis to the waterfall.your shutter speed has given a feel to the water that appeals to me. The composition including the bridge is good. The decision to use monochrome is perfect.   Posted: 11/18/2024 13:52:26

The smooth water texture contrasts with the rocks and surroundings. The bridge adds interest, and the black and white treatment highlights the textures of the water, rocks, and leaves.   Posted: 11/19/2024 22:46:55
