About the Image(s)
I was playing around with the original, which was of a boardwalk to a beach in West Cork Eire. I used the process that I have used numerous times involving Polar Coordinates and this was the result.

This is an interesting image. It makes me think of another mapping. Do you know George Gamow's book, One Two Three ... Infinity? In it, he has drawn an image of a one-to-one mapping of the entire universe with a single human in the picture, but the stars and planets are interior to the human and the human's guts are outside extending to the outer limits of space.   Posted: 11/06/2024 02:20:07

wow I find it fascinating. It looks like an island in the middle of the ocean with a cloud hovering from above. Love it.

Hi John, A very creative image! It makes the scene look like it was taken with some kind of fisheye lens or from outer space! Well done!

A nice artistic piece. It gives a different take on a landscape picture.   Posted: 11/18/2024 21:14:58
