About the Image(s)
I google the exact time for the Blue Hour on my area, and when to the Marina in Mill Bay, I was so lucky this family of geese were passing by.
The settings were ISO 100, 14 mm lenses, f/8 at 1/15 sec.
I hope you liked, any comments or critique most welcome.

I just love the blue color in the image. Did you use filters or is that the real color of the scene? I would just probably crop the picture a little bit from the left and bottom sides. Posted: 08/10/2026 03:24:02

No I didn't use filters, but I set it up in the White Balance for Tungsten Light with a Subtle correction, that cools the image, and in the editing I reduced the highlights and add vibrancy to the image and soften the sky decreasing the texture, I think.

Wow, the bluest of blue hours. I'd consider cropping from the bottom (maybe 1/3 of the water) to bring the horizon closer t a rule of thirds positiion, and just a little from the left to decrease the negative space there. Posted: 08/12/2026 21:33:55

I recommend cropping off just pass the 2 windows on the right. Also maybe dropig some of the water from the bottom. Posted: 08/16/2026 00:10:08

Beautiful photo Martha!. I love the geese paddocks through the image. As noted, a little cropping from the bottom and left will keep focus of attention where you want it. I would remove the little black thing that appears to be dead center - maybe it's a buoy? Other than that, I love this image! Posted: 08/13/2026 19:15:31

You have used the 'Blue hour' well with a slight bit of intensification to the blue. The view is good but the geese have really made the picture. Well done. I would have to agree with a bit of a crop from the base. Posted: 08/15/2026 09:23:24
