About the Image(s)

Taken on my OM5 camera with a 12-45 zoom.
This is part of one of the street scenes at the Beamish Living Museum in the north of England. The tram is one of a number that transport visitors around the large site.

Very nice image of an interesting subject. I like the composition. The two people looking in the window help balance the image left to right. Too bad they aren't wearing period dress. Perhaps brighten the image a little. I'd love to see the histogram, but I bet its heavy on the shadow end.   Posted: 04/15/2026 23:58:22

Spotted your image when browsing through this months shot. Having been to Beamish several times I remember taking a ride on this tram. with so many visitors it is difficult to avoid including someone. Perhaps new Photoshop tools would enable you to remove the couple? Thanks for the memory.   Posted: 04/17/2026 11:59:57

I really feel this is a photo that brings back a moment in time. The people looking in the window of the store is fine with me. Having the trolley at the position to the left of the door to the store front and showing the store sign above is well done.   Posted: 04/18/2026 11:49:11

Beautiful contrast of colors in this picture, they red background provided by the buildings enhances the color of the tram   Posted: 04/18/2026 17:05:59
