About the Image(s)
In November 2017, I attended a photography workshop in Costa Rica. Our first venue was in the coastal rain forest near the border of Nicaragua. Our lodge had a large wrap-around covered on which we could place our equipment. We set up feeding stations using fallen tree limbs for perches and local fruit. This is my favorite shot of the black-mandibled toucan which a nice profile showing the yellow beak and breast, and the red-feathered rump.
