Great subject and composition. Perhaps increase overall contrast and blue saturation in the sky. Great candidate for monochrome.   Posted: 03/14/2025 12:59:55

Awesome photograph. The locomotive beauty really stands out! Probably I would just decrease the exposure a bit and increase the contrast. I agree with Sheldon that black and white would make this composition even more appealing.   Posted: 03/14/2025 17:22:39
Very nice composition - I love the conductor walking beside the train and the workman on the train - this really adds interest to the photo. I agree with previous comments: increase contrast and saturation in the sky, and tone down the brightness on the concrete pathway. Would love to see this image in monochrome.   Posted: 03/16/2025 15:56:41
Well I am easily distracted when it comes to steam locomotives, I love the feeling of power and all the visible workings. I like this picture as the locomotive is prepared for action. I can almost hear it and smell it. wonderful stuff.   Posted: 03/18/2025 03:44:58
Great story of this steam locomotive to show the beauty along the Connecticut river valley.
This image transport me to old timer trains.
Yes I agree with your comments about a great candidate for monochrome, and to add more contrast to the sky, to see more of the steam coming from the train.
