About the Image(s)
I was practicing ICM, while walking by the Estuary at Cowichan Bay, it begins with a wooded area, I took icm photography there, after 10 minutes walking I saw this duck and also I did ICM with it. Afterwards, I edited in PS and merged the 2 images. Hope you like it.

Very nice - the blues and yellows work well together, I like the vertical lines from the grass and the duck provides a center of interest. I need to try ICM photography. My images tend to be very "literal".   Posted: 03/14/2025 12:47:34

I like this one very much. The pictures taken with the ICM technique and the merging of them in PS created some sort of Impressionism Painting. Graet idea, I think I will try that myself.   Posted: 03/14/2025 17:01:34
Yes, give it a try, its fun.   Posted: 03/20/2025 07:04:55
Wow! Interesting effect of ICM - never thought of taking two images and merging! The color of the reeds/grass and duck work well and provide a nice contrast to the water. Thanks for sharing a new way of doing ICM - I'll have to try it out!

Suzanne, In this case one image the icm is done vertically (the trees) and the other is done horizontally.   Posted: 03/20/2025 07:09:29
What a clever idea, merging two ICM images. I have not managed to get one acceptable result as yet.
This works very well and gives a good impressionist view of the subjects. I really like it well done.   Posted: 03/18/2025 03:30:19

Thanks John. Mostly I still like to see the subjects.   Posted: 03/20/2025 07:11:37
