About the Image(s)
Marching for a Brighter Future was taken at a Martin Luther King march in New Braunfels, Tx. I've never participated in this event but wanted to see what it was all about and try to get some photojournalism shots. This image was taken with a Nikon Z8, 35mm, 1/250s, f/8, ISO 200. Post editing included cropping and enhancing colors. Since it's photojournalism I didn't remove any of the distractions in the background - which I really would like to do but PSA frowns upon that :).
Let me know your thoughts and how it could be improved.

I like the composition, juxtaposition of the three marchers and the banner. I'm not sure what you mean by distractions, but I don't see anything that detracts from this photojournalism image. It would be nice if the banner was more prominent - not sure how to do it without getting farther from the subject and using a long lens to compress the space.   Posted: 02/12/2025 17:58:08
A well-done photojournalism photograph. Just subdue the background exposure except for the banner. It tells a great story.   Posted: 02/13/2025 20:24:59
A picture that tells a story. I like the composition and the background banner tells us what its all about. For me I would not change a thing.   Posted: 02/14/2025 10:00:21
