About the Image(s)
Last summer, I visited The Grand Tetons for the first time. This is Mt. Moran shot from Oxbow Bend. What caught my eye was the mist near the base which turned out to be pollen. Thick clouds of pollen were blowing everywhere in the wind. I liked the reflection of the mountain.
I converted to B&W with NIK Silver Effex, removed a tree and did some other cleanup. I softened the ripples in the water, applied Topaz denoise and used Curves to give some depth to the trees which had pollen blowing through them.
My camera is an Olympus mirrorless with a Lumix G Vario lens. This was a handheld shot at f/11 at 1/160 with ISO 200.

Great image that you captured. I find it is always a challenge on cropping and many times relates to how it is displayed to the judges. I am finding more acceptance of the 1920x1080px aspect ratio, so am using that whereever possible. Sometimes we have to shoot wider to allow more crop room when we want to save certain parts of an image.
