About the Image(s)
We wrapped up our Iceland to Norway trip earlier this month with a visit to Oslo. One of the most striking buildings in Norway's capital city is their Opera House. This is a small detail highlighting the staircases that allow visitors to climb up the structure. I was fortunate to find a moment when it wasn't overwhelmed with tourists.
Sony A7R VI, Tamron 28-200 f/2.8-5.6. ISO 100, 32mm, f/9, 1/320 second. Shot handheld. Processing was all done in Lightroom Classic.

Hi Henry: From a perspective standpoint I think you stood in just the right place to make this photo. Compositionally every thing balances very well, then the clouds in the sky add that finishing touch.
I think the small building in the distance between the two large buildings adds a bit of depth to the overall scene.
This scene converted very well to monochrome.   Posted: 10/08/2026 05:10:43
