On our trip to Munich, Germany last year we intended to take as much as possible of the really beautiful constructed metro stations. In sum I detected over 63 stations which are worth to be photographed. This one is the station Bruderm?¼hlstrasse. Not the most beautiful one, but I caught two trains riding in different directions at the same time. It was well timed, because the complete way was filled up with a train.
Canon R5, tripod, Ap. 18, Shutter speed 1,3‘‘, ISO 100, 14mm (Sigma 2.8 14-24mm).

Hello Charles. Thanks for your comment. I am using Photoshop and not very intensive. Trying a little bit to take colours out or in, sharpness, brightness, etc. I do not use textures or additional filters except Topaz DeNoise.

Hi Peter: you were in the right place at the right time to photograph this interesting scene with two trains going in opposite directions.
The person at the right in the white shirt adds a great sense of scale.
The people on the escalator stairs are a bit dark, I would experiment and see if I could lighten them up a little.
A very interesting scene with a lot of depth and a fine monochrome conversion.

Very dynamic Peter! The timing was spot on and you rarely see two trains in motion. Nice tonal range and perspective. I agree with Murphy. Can those folks in the middle be lightened up? Will it be the same effect as in your posted version? Posted: 08/09/2026 20:16:13
Great Capture. I spent over an hour in the DC Metro and didn't capture two trains moving simultaneously. One thing to consider, crop from the top down to the level of the two dark diagonal lines so that they mirror the dark diagonal lines coming up from the bottom corners. There isn't much going on up there, and it would emphasize the leading lines and symmetry - now coming in from all four corners. Posted: 08/17/2026 19:12:36
