Teasel is native to Europe and Asia and was introduced to North America in the 1700s. It is now wide spread across the U.S. and is a way side weed.
Found this grouping of Teasels with a suitable background without distractions. These plants are 48” tall and will sway in just the slightest of breezes, so a calm day without wind is helpful.

Lovely image, Murphy. I really like grouping of the teasels and the panoramic crop. Nicely processed as well.   Posted: 07/24/2025 17:04:45
Teasels have a wonderful structure! I love the way you grouped them in this picture. Mostly I adore the light falling on the plants, that creates a 3D-effect on a smooth background! Well done!   Posted: 07/24/2025 23:59:26
Great composition. I love the texture in the tassels and the way the hairs on the stem stand out against the background. The crop suits the subject well.   Posted: 07/28/2025 03:00:45
