About the Image(s)
The Institute of Urban Development in Hamburg, Germany is a giant building. I was there a few months ago on a very sunny day. But I didn’t have much time which is the reason I took “only” about 50 photos from this project.
In a passageway I saw this constellation while looking up. Too bad, my tripod was in the car. Sad, I guess I should have laid down on the ground to take the photo. So, unfortunately the edges are not in frame even though I used my 14mm lens with full-frame camera. Next time I will be better prepared.
Canon R5, freehand, Sigma 14-24mm at 14mm, ISO 250, Aperture 8, shutter speed 1/250 sec.

I like really like this image and have only one suggestion and that is to darken the sky to a slightly darker gray.   Posted: 12/19/2024 01:30:41

Your composition is excellent just the way it is, Peter. Well done! I'd go in the opposite direction as Jim, however. I would preserve the blown out sky and darken the blacks to really emphasize the graphic nature of this image. I've included an example of what I have it mind.   Posted: 12/19/2024 17:26:47
