One morning at a nearby beach I became fascinated by all the patterns in the sand. I took a bunch of photos, but this is the only one where I intervened.

Very intriguing! It seems as if the handprint is extruded, rather than a depression in the sand. Great texture, and the ridge at lower right leads one's eyes into the composition. Posted: 08/21/2026 04:27:57
