Following from my February submission, here is a different view showing the decorative lighting in the same building's exhibition space. The varying size globes are scattered at different heights throughout the length of the space and are more decorative than functional as they hang over a cafe area. Some of these lights hanging from the ceiling can be seen in the window reflections and the large one is in the foreground of the photograph. Some may consider the foreground light intrusive in the image but it is there and it was very difficult getting the composition I wanted and this is it. I used this for one of my Christmas card designs.

This one is cool! All that playing around with the white circles paid off. I think the composition is great, not intrusive. I like the different shades of white too.   Posted: 04/09/2026 23:06:20

I can see where the large white foreground light can serve as a place for text in a magazine layout or, in your card! By itself the foreground is almost too strong for my eyes and takes a moment to readjust my perception of the rest of the image. I enjoy the reflection and this feel like the main subject to me.   Posted: 04/14/2026 19:42:30

I like the left half of the image, with the globes floating like balloons. As Pat says, the white space on the right can be used for text in a card. But if you want it to stand on its own, I wonder if it would be possible to bring back some more texture from the raw image in the large light in front.   Posted: 04/18/2026 17:53:36

This one strikes me as a very playful celebration of geometry. It makes me smile!   Posted: 04/18/2026 21:08:34
