About the Image(s)

For the digital dialog, we are encouraged to submit work that we aren't sure about. This is an accidental image. I messed up! Leading up to this, I pressed the wrong focus button on the back of my camera. I found the right button just as this bird passed behind a tree. I like the result, but it is a complete accident. In a situation like this, what we have control of is all after-the-fact. Crop. Processing. I realize there are problems with the capture, but I'm interested in feedback about the crop and whatever you can observe about the processing.

This is minimalist photo. The soft blur and cool-toned background evoke a sense of fine art aesthetics i.e. a fine art photo. The silhouette is clean, and entire photo lacks any detail. It has a dreamlike quality, but the question comes to my mind as to what it is the narrative? Should all photographs need to tell a story or have narratives? can't they be just beautiful that's all.   Posted: 12/15/2025 02:19:21
