Painted Lady butterfly taken at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens in Richmond VA. Taken with my Canon R6 with a zoom lens at a focal length of 105mm, 1/125 sec. shutter, at f/10, iso 3200, hand held. Post editing was done in Luminar Neo, adjusting saturation and blurring the background with selective masking. I love the colors and subject.

Great macro! I like the tones too. The butterfly and buds are sharp, with the background thrown nicely out-of-focus. I might have tried to include the entire leaf at bottom left, if possible. Posted: 12/20/2024 12:33:50
