About the Image(s)

This is the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge in Charleston/Mt Pleasant South Carolina which spans the Cooper River. It is only lit like this during certain times of the year that do not disturb the nesting sea turtles; the bright lights of the bridge would interfere with their instinctive nesting and the emergence of the baby turtles returning to the sea. I used Luminar Neo to adjust the exposure, saturation, sharpness and the erasing of several distracting points of light and a distant construction crane. Taken with a Canon DSLR and a zoom lens at 72mm, ISO 200, f/11 and a 2 second exposure at about 6 pm in late November 2021.
