About the Image(s)
Infrared on a grey day. OMD EM1 full spectrum adjusted. 1/250 sec. f8. iso 200.
I just loved the symmetry and the birds which arrived rather fortuitously. Denoised in post but little else.

Your infrared photo has created a serene calm winter day following a light snowfall.
Capturing the black bird in the photo grabs the eye. I like old retired autos and trucks and this would be a great photo for adding a light snow covered one to the foreground.

Bit tricky to find old truck let alone snow here in North Devon, UK! ;)   Posted: 09/13/2023 05:21:53
The infrared image is striking, and as Paul said, it looks like a winter snow scene. The black bird is a very good addition. The image has me thinking about having one of my cameras that I am not using converted.   Posted: 09/11/2023 15:59:46
Yes, infrared is very specific and, indeed, limited. But for some things I just love it! Great use for an old camera....!   Posted: 09/13/2023 05:23:18
The photo givesme the impression that is was taken during winter time with snow everywhere. Beautiful!

Exquisite image Judy. Nice and tact sharp. Like the blackbird and gate for contrasting elements. Curious did you elevate the white level? Perfect, I cannot add anything.   Posted: 09/13/2023 16:38:39
I just made sure the histogram went all the way from white to black so yes, in effect, I did.   Posted: 09/14/2023 02:52:31
I would have thought it was snow instead of infrared. Well done! I can't suggest a thing!
