October 2026 - Sunset, Dog, and Boats
About the Image(s)
This is a photo taken in 2020 when I was in the island of Rodri gues situated to the North east of Mauritius. The photo was taken before sunset and this resulted in a "silhouette type photo".. I increased the blue of the sky. and also a slight increase of the contrast.
ISO 100; 1/400s; f/10. Nikon D7200 with 50mm f1.4 lens.

Lovely sunset photo! It is exceptional except the bottom of the photo. The rectangular black in the bottom left should be replaced by water. If you selected it and did content aware fill, it would end up with some things you would need to rubber stamped out. (Someone else may have a better solution.) The dog needs a bit of water under its legs. Posted: 10/08/2026 20:26:40
