About the Image(s)

Part of pastoral life is controlling some horses which do not fall in line. This image reflects one of the herdsmen lassoing a horse which was moving away from the other horses. They value the horses and treat them gently and are generally very patient with them. The horses themselves are very agile but can be very strong willed and do not tolerate riders who they do not know. As usual, I appreciate frank feedback on the image.

Shot on my Nikon Z9, 28-400 lens, F8, ISO 360, 1/800 shutter speed, 400 mm focal length. I think the white balance was direct sunlight.
