After enjoying a bouquet with roses, I froze three of the roses in a pan of water. Then I photographed the frozen flowers on a light stand with a light shining on the front of the ice also. I used my Canon EOS R6 at f/10, 1/320, and 42 mm. In Lightroom and PhotoShop I cropped the image, cloned to complete the edge of ice, adjusted exposure, highlights, shadows, color, saturation, and vibrance. As always, I appreciate your comments.

Ruth, you've perfected the technique for sure! I thought an apt, alternate title would be FROZEN IN TIME. The detail is amazing and I'm impressed with your editing skills that brought the dark original to the final result. Very well done! Posted: 05/05/2025 17:09:34
