About the Image(s)

Last February, we visited the beaches of Ventura, California before a big storm. The waves crashed along the shore, which delighted our grandchildren. My grandson was especially daring, waiting until the last minute to leap to drier land. I used a burst feature on my Canon EOS R6 to capture this moment when he waited too long to jump from the on-coming wave.

Shot at 1/125, f/13, 58 mm. In Lightroom and PhotoShop, I used masks to lighten and darken areas of the photo, and sharpened.
