About the Image(s)
A few months ago, I submitted a series of photos I took of a cracked window on one of my sliders. Two members of this group suggested things that I could do in Photoshop with this image. Michael suggested I could use an Artistic Filter and Ruth suggested I could use the photo as a background for a composite. I was intrigued by these suggestions but had no idea how to do either. I had Photoshop but trying to use it had always been difficult. The myriad things that Photoshop let you do were lost on me. The only thing I knew how to do on Photoshop was remove an object, and not always successfully. .I felt as if I had a Maserati that I used to go to the supermarket. The suggestions by Ruth and Michael compelled me to search the PSA Education section. I found an online course called Introduction to Photoshop. I signed up and am at the last of six lessons. It has been a great experience and I really have learned how to maneuver around the multiple aspects of Photoshop. My submission this month is in direct response to the suggestion made by Ruth and Michael a few months ago. It incorporates both Ruth's suggestion of a composite and Michael's suggestion of use of an Artistic Filter.
