About the Image(s)
The original original was very drab so I used maximum. Vibrance to br ing out the interesting colors. I then copied the background layer to another layer. I added Plus One EV plus a Gaussian Bkyr with was fairly significant. The original layer, I changed to a non=background layer to be safe and added abut another plus one EV to it. I went back to the upper layer which was blurred and used the Nyltiplt baked nice ti baked tge twi caters together. Tis should darken each layer and blend then. If it is tooo light or too dark, I play with the EV on each of the to get the effect I am looking for. Flatten layers.

The Orton effect makes the image more interesting with the texture and colors.
For the composition, I'd prefer to see the headlight and the fender (the area above the car's tire) in full since they appear as truncated or something missing. Posted: 03/06/2025 16:28:24

Joan, what a great editing job on this image! I love how the colors really pop and the textures are highlighted. I like the angle at which the photo was taken. I know it is an old truck and lets me imagine the rest! Very nicely done. Posted: 03/15/2025 15:16:39
Joan, I like how you've combined brightening the colors with softening the textures using the Orton Effect. Your tight crop of the car creates a more abstract look. The colors of red, orange, and blue create an artistic look. Posted: 03/17/2025 15:56:40
