Hi Robert. What a GREAT capture of the doe. I love the composition, the pose and the extreme detail in the subject. Nice job! (I laughed at myself when I read your second sentence. Initially I misread it and thought it said "Nose removal". ?)   Posted: 01/06/2025 14:57:00

Thanks Michael. I haven't found Adobe's AI to be reliable for "nose removal." ;-)
I go back and forth between Topaz AI and Dxo PhotoLab for noise removal. Any thoughts?

Topaz works well as does the DeNoise function within the Details tab in Lightroom

Robert, I like this portrait of the doe and its concentrated stare. In my opinion, you've done a good job of cropping with pleasant placement of the doe's head in the frame. The blurred branches in the foreground add to the feeling that you're looking through the woods to see the deer. I like the sharpness of the deer's ears, eyes, and nose. Well done!   Posted: 01/11/2025 15:36:41

Robert,
Your final product for the deer is quite lovely. She is looking straight at you and you have brought more excitement to her face. Your cropping is good and removing the green stem from her body also helps prevent diversion in regarding her lovely face. The bvbackgroud is pretty busy. You might consider darkening it a bit.

Robert, what a great image of this beautiful doe. I like the composition as you have cropped it and the enhancements made. And, you have glint in both eyes. Very nice!   Posted: 01/14/2025 00:24:35

Hi Robert,
You have captured a nice portrait of the doe. She seemed to pose for your shot by looking straight into your camera, her ears pricked up, and her body was framed by some leaves.
Your crop, the removal of the white grass on her body, and your post processing makes the doe stand out from the background.
I'd prefer to darken a bit more the vertical white branch on top of the doe's ear since it draws the viewer's eyes there. Beautiful portrait!   Posted: 01/17/2025 03:50:58
