October 2026 - Purple Daisy
About the Image(s)
A purple daisy that popped up all by itself in the corner of the garden at our summer house. It was so striking that I simply couldn't ignore it.
Nikon D90, 50mm, f/9, ISO 200.

Beautiful color on this daisy! The background is a bit bright but my eye still goes straight to the sharp center! Posted: 10/02/2026 22:22:40
Hi Sevinc: The vivid pink Purple Daisy is very sharp in detail.
I concur with Susan regarding the background being a bit too light, I would suggest toning it down somewhat. As is, it kind of takes interest away from the purple flower. Posted: 10/08/2026 02:56:18
