About the Image(s)
I took the shot outside on an overcast day with a mild breeze. I used my Canon R; RF 100-500 lens at 300mm, f/10; 1/500 sec; and ISO at 1600. I was 1.38 meters from the flower.
It doesn't have to be big and showy to be beautiful. You'll never see this in a flower garden, and only perhaps in a vegetable garden. I forgot about a lettuce plant in my vegetable patch and it bolted, producing this small cluster of blooms. When I looked closely I liked it so I decided to see what king of photo I could get. The bloom is usually around 1/2 inch in diameter, never more than 1 inch.
I had to do a lot of cropping, and thus a good bit of denoise. I also did some haze removal and a some serious sharpening. I increased the color contrast and did and increased the saturation to bring out the yellow.

You have done a lot of post processing work on this picture and it turned out well. The strong yellow color against the black background has high impact.
You have matched the border color very well to the flower. Just my 2 cents; your border is rather thick in size, it kind of over powers the flower. I think a thinner color border in this case may have been a better choice.
