About the Image(s)
The photo was taken with a 24-70mm lens at 70mm, ISO 200, 1/800s at f/2.8. Weather cloudy.
With Layers and Masking, the background was blurred and 'darkened' using the exposure and othertone controls. Distractions in the background were removed. The red flower was slightly sharpened and the red colour boosted.
Software used: ON1 Photo Raw

Hi Gaetan: You have done a lot of post processing work and it has helped your picture considerably.
In my humble opinion there is still more that can be done; The background is very busy and distracts from the very interesting red flower, I would try to blur the background and darken it down so it was not so bright. In doing that it would really improve your picture. Posted: 07/02/2026 14:48:06

What you have done has improved this busy scene a lot but I agree with Murphy that his ideas would improve it even more. The vertical composition was definitely the way to go!! Posted: 07/02/2026 17:06:56
