About the Image(s)
1/80 at f/14, ISO 2500 at 18 mm (FF).
Every year it is possible to visit the Royals Greenhouse in Brussels (for you: https://www.monarchie.be/en/heritage/royal-greenhouses-in-laeken). The paradise for the flowers.
I like the small green leaf in the middle. it's an eye-catcher.
Next time I will take a picture of the name of the different flowers....

Hi Vincent: Quite a grouping of small flowers, I cannot determine if this display is just one large flower head or many smaller plants planted very close together.
Lighting is soft which ideal for this arrangement, pretty good depth of field. It seems like the far left side is not perhaps as sharp as the center of the flowers, however there is so much to look that becomes a minor point.
Ray may know what family this flower belongs to.   Posted: 12/05/2024 05:10:25

Vincent - my app says it is an azalea variety - almost hard to tell with so many flowers. You did good - it looks to me as if the further is move from the center, the flowers are not pointing straight to the camera but more to the side. I actually think this is useful as the flowers in the center draw you attention and the sides become more of a background. And yes, the green leaf peaking out adds a lot to the composition. I really like the green leaf at the centre of the image. The left side is not as sharp as the centre, as Murphy has mentioned. Otherwise, it is a good shot!   Posted: 12/19/2024 13:25:35
