About the Image(s)

I was in my side yard with my fish-eye lens taking a picture of these small yellow flowers. I stood up and saw, through my camera lens, that my shadow was up and going to attack me. I quickly took a 3D picture just to prove it happened. But when I looked the second, time my shadow was just there on the lawn like it should have been. Really! Photoshop???.

Well done! I would suggest a circular crop, to reduce the distortion and confusion.   Posted: 07/02/2024 23:26:36

A well seen and taken shot which I like especially how your shadow is standing up   Posted: 07/16/2024 20:03:43

Interesting image. Yes, your shadow is standing up. Which is the fish-eye lens? If it is Canon double fish-eye lens, you can convert it into square image using Canon VR utility software and remove the distortion on the edges quickly or a circular crop will remove the distortion and part of your body on the bottom side.   Posted: 07/20/2024 08:04:08

The fish-eye lens is from a bunch of various lenses that clip on my cell-phone lens that I got for Christmas a few years ago. I don't know anything about it's specifications. I wanted to see how it worked on the flower shown and like I said I stood up and saw my shadow. The sides are clipped because the cell-phone camers was vertical and clipped the circle.   Posted: 07/20/2024 18:49:20

The shadow looks "normal" in the distorted scene. Very cool.   Posted: 07/21/2024 12:06:23
