About the Image(s)
Took this picture of one of the inlets, close to residential buildings on the outskirts of Aireys Inlet. The setting seemed quite appealing for IR, but not buildings showing in the background.
Workflow: After converting the image into B&W in Lightroom, I took it to Photoshop for initial refining … cloned out buildings and other unwanted elements; reduced noise within reason; used Gradient Tool to darken both the foreground and the background. Cropped the image suitably and applied Darken / Lighten Center from Niks’s Color Efex Pro 5. Finally adjusted Brightness and Contrast and applied ‘Toned Golden Gray’ Preset from LR.

Nicely seen! IR certainly works for this scene. Check the horizon line when you have time and see if it is straight...appears to be slanting to the right to my eye. Again, for my eye, the expanse of water doesn't add much to the visual impact...if only there was a rowboat or small sailboat coming by!   Posted: 09/01/2023 07:55:55

Tranquil scene with splendor in the foreground grass...
Good marks removing the man made structures, you made it into a natural area.
Well done
