About the Image(s)
I was walking the dog in a local park and noticed the light making the leaves glow. I had the point and shoot IR camera with me, so I took a few pictures.
Post processing was minimal. As usual, I made tonal adjustments in ACR and made a few final adjustments during the B&W conversion in Nik Silver Efex Pro. The Canon G10 was set to ISO 100, f5, 1/200 sec, EV -0.67.

Good eye here. The grass leads you into the frame. You wonder what is off to right as you look at your image closely and only you and your dog truly know.

Arik, through this photograph you have captured more of a feeling than an image. I like the way you rendered a peaceful, safe moment. Beautiful too.   Posted: 12/02/2025 16:11:39
It's great when you see a nice prospect of an image and able to capture it as you saw. I like how the shading provides a natural vignette.

Arik,
Your processing is what really makes this a "summer" image. Nicely done.   Posted: 12/08/2025 18:53:16

It's a beautiful setting Arik, such nice light and shadows. To me it calls out for "something", anything, a bird, a person, etc perfectly placed, but even so it does evoke a certain mood as others have illuded to. As usual you're toning with a hint of sepia is spot on.   Posted: 12/08/2025 23:51:31
Hi Arik, I applaud what you have presented. Because there is just a portion of the tree, I get a sense of movement. The light shining through he leaves tells the story.   Posted: 12/12/2025 15:32:51
