New Hope Railroad runs train rides from New Hope, PA to Lahaska, PA and back. The rides are short (about 8 miles for the round trip), but the attraction is the old trains that are pulled by either an old steam engine or a little newer diesel engine. This time it was the diesel engine. I followed the track on Google Maps satellite view to find a nice curve that is near an intersection with a road, allowing me easy access.
Post processing was minimal. As usual, I made tonal adjustments in ACR and a few final adjustments during the B&W conversion in Nik Silver Efex Pro. The Nikon D300 was set to ISO 200, F8.0, 1/200 sec.

Nice job planning for this shot, you picked a great spot. The 8218 looks great rounding the bend.

Thank you. You can see that the original had some small rocks and pieces of wood that I either cropped out or removed with the PS remove tool.
