About the Image(s)
This is a different take on Infrared for me this month. Yes, the original capture was on my tried and true D300 converted to Deep BW by LifePixel. From there, I used the Remove tool to drop the person out of the frame lower right. Then, the fun began! After a full conversion to B&W in Silver Efex Pro and some balancing of Levels and Curves, I encircled a vertical area atop the tallest rock formation and initiated a Generative AI adjustment to add the following with the key words "tall maiden in full white drape looking up". As those who use this newer tool know, you get back at least 3 options for the area you've chosen, and this was the one I liked. I went back a second time, encircling only the woman's face and inputting "add eyes and other detail to the face". Here's the result.
As I always disclaim, AI adjusted images, even those beginning with a legitimate color or infrared image, are NOT allowed in PSA-approved exhibitions. Most of our interclub exhibitions also frown on their use at present. PSA simply cannot deny the emerging technology, however, and we'll see the day where AI adjusted images have a place in the craft. I am personally very opposed to fully generated AI images...that's not one's personal work and isn't photography...but I am intrigued by using one of my images and simply enhancing it with well described AI features, as I've tried to do here.

In the last few days, I played a lot with Generative Fill. I noticed that I had 90 credits left and 3 days to use them, so I played.
