About the Image(s)
Once again, I took my Nikon D300 IR camera on my walk with the dog in Duke Island Park. The picture was captured with the 8mm Rokinon fisheye lens. I use the Rokinon 12mm fisheye on the full-frame cameras and the 8mm on the cropped sensor. I liked the textures on the tree trunk and the way the branches and leaves filled the frame.
Post processing was minimal. I rotated the image and made tonal adjustments in ACR and a few final adjustments during the B&W conversion in Nik Silver Efex Pro. The Nikon D300 was set to ISO 200, 1/160 sec. The lens is fully manual and didn’t record the aperture.
